With the recent acquisition of Hivelocity, Colohouse expands its offerings from colocation services to include private cloud infrastructure and VMware support services.
Colohouse has offered data center hosting services for about ten years. Hivelocity is a strategic acquisition that significantly expands their services.
Their focus is on the middle market, offering services to organizations that need expertise to set up and manage data center infrastructure, handling everything except applications and data. In addition to the private cloud offering, Hivelocity brings to Colohouse a VMware Cloud Service Provider partnership.
Colohouse now offers services to migrate existing VMware customers to VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and adopt Broadcom’s new licensing program (core based rather than compute based pricing), or to set up VCF for new customers.
Together with Hivelocity, Colohouse offers complete hybrid infrastructure services from the cloud to the data center, including a broad range of hardware options, cloud native automation, security, and simplified networking.
