Perimeter 81 secures the full gamut of sensitive endpoints across the IT infrastructure, including SSH and telnet ports, cloud configuration interfaces, local network endpoints, and business applications via IPSec tunnels and user interface emulation.
Perimeter 81 presents an image of an interface (say, a login screen or an SSH command line session) to the user, securing it via two-factor authentication. Perimeter 81 then connects the user’s emulated session to the underlying application via an IPSec tunnel, thus providing security beyond what traditional VPNs and firewalls can offer.
Perimeter 81 also provides site-to-site security via IPSec tunnels, for example, in multicloud cloud-to-cloud communications scenarios. Perimeter 81 runs as a multitenant cloud service.
